Flying
Kiebitz
The „Kiebitz" is a classic double decker in the style of the 1930s of mixed construction type with seats situated one behind the other. This airplane, weighing only 200 kg, is only for people who want to and are actually able to construct her, because Michael Platzer, the designer, only provides the drawings for this airplane.
The fuselage consists of an aluminium frame, the double spar wing is made of aluminium and wood.
Getting into the Kiebitz is usually done via the bearing wing area. But, as always in life, there are different possibilities here too. It is also possible to put on parachute gear and have friends pull you up to the ceiling of the hall. The craft is then pushed under you and you are lowered down into it.
