Motte
Since 1981, Michael Plater has been offering the „Motte" for home-made construction. He provides eight drawings and a list of instructions.
In the B2/B3 version, the surfaces are made of two aluminium spars and aluminium sheet ribs and tightly fastened to the f the tower and fuselage. A central pipe serves as a tail unit. Attached to it is a pyramid-shaped frame which holds the pilot seat and the main gear.
The Motte is controlled in conventional manner, i.e. via a stick. The side rudder, equipped with a coupled tail wheel, is operated via a pipe that is placed over the control.
This way it is possible to entirely service the control with the hands.
